The Everbuild EVBHEAT Everflex Heatmate Silicone is a high modulus, reactive curing silicone sealant specifically designed for high temperature applications. EVBHEAT cures quickly to reduce dirt pick up. It remains permanently flexible, forming a weather-tight rubber-like seal and it conforms to the performance requirements of BS 5889 Type B. Everbuild EVBHEAT has a good range of applications from a gasket sealant, for joints and assemblies, which must be resistant to high temperatures in ducting, metal chimneys, industrial / domestic ovens, heating appliances. Everbuild AC95 is a high strength, permanently flexible acoustic/intumescent sealant and adhesive specifically formulated for sealing and bonding plasterboard and other Kraft lined insulation boards where a fire rated seal of up to 5-hours is required. It is a water based, solvent free formula which is easy-to-use and clean up and which adheres to just about all building substrates. This Everbuild product is permanently flexible with high grab and will adhere to most surfaces whilst being mould resistant and Non flammable. When cured, it can be overpaintable and is easy to clean up. AC95 will form an acoustic and intumescent barrier by sealing gaps between plasterboard walls, floors and ceilings and dry lining applications. As an adhesive Everbuild AC95 bonds plasterboard to plasterboard, wood and metal studding and direct to block work. It is also ideal for sealing and bonding most other Kraft lined insulation boards. Tested following the principles of BS 476 part 20 (1987) as detailed in Warrington fire research report No. 144508/B (Feb 2005). The product, in suitably designed joints, will resist the passage of fire for up to 5-hours. The selected fillers used in this formulation also make it suitable for use as an acoustic sealant. When exposed to heat, it swells greater than 3 x its original size, so creating a char that will resist the passage of fire for up to 5 hours and no priming is required for most construction substrates. Pyro Mate Silicone is a neutral cure elastic silicone sealant which conforms to BS 476 Part 20/EN1366-4 (2006) for fire retardancy and has a fire rating of up to 4 hours in certain joint configurations.
