Diamond stones will sharpen steel, HSS and tungsten carbide tools and may also be used to abrade glass, ceramic tiles and porcelain. Diamond stones may be used dry or with water as a lubricant. Always dry the stone after use and before storing. Clean the stone occasionally, using soapy water and a soft brush. This double-sided diamond whetstone is of the very highest quality, and it offers the ultimate in sharpening technology with multiple layers of monocrystalline diamonds. The double-sided construction features a coarse 325 grit and a fine 750 grit, with the added advantage of a continuous small tools diamond sharpening pad. This whetstone represents true versatility as it enables the cutting edges of most tools tobe sharpened by using a single stone.
